Over time, single-ply membranes will weather and deteriorate. Proper maintenance will extend the life of the membrane virtually eliminating costly tear off, replacement and disposal costs. The highly reflective, elastomeric coating system, formulated specifically for use over single ply membranes such as EPDM and Hypalon®, among others, is designed to adhere to and protect the membrane from further degradation and extend its service life. Contrary to popular belief, ultra-violet radiation, not water, is a roof's worse enemy. The sun’s harmful radiation is the most damaging cause of built-up roof failure literally baking out the natural oils in built-up and modified bitumen roofs. The coating systems we use are designed and formulated and applied to the specific roofing substrate in question. Remember, coatings are to be applied to roofs in fair or better condition, not poor condition.
